Job summary

Plintron is seeking a Chief AI Officer to lead its global AI strategy from Dubai, shaping the roadmap for AI-enabled telecom platforms and digital services. You will identify high-impact use cases in network operations, customer experience, and analytics while ensuring scalable deployment and strong governance across markets.

You will build and mentor AI and data science teams, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and represent the company’s AI vision in executive discussions and industry

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in AI strategy and leadership; define and execute enterprise AI roadmaps.
• Hands-on ML, data science, analytics; deploy models at scale.
• Experience in cloud-native architectures and telecom platforms or large-scale digital infra.
• Build, lead and mentor cross-functional AI teams; collaborate with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and ethical AI practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management translating AI topics to business outcomes.
• Advanced degree in CS/DS/Engineering; MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Dubai.

Role Description

The Chief AI Officer will lead Plintron's global AI strategy, driving the design and implementation of AI solutions across its cloud-native telecom platforms and digital enablement offerings. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai involves overseeing AI product roadmaps, identifying high-impact AI use cases in network operations, customer experience, and business intelligence, and ensuring scalable deployment across multiple markets. The role includes building and mentoring multidisciplinary AI and data science teams, collaborating with technology, product, and commercial stakeholders, and governing AI initiatives to meet security, compliance, and ethical standards. The Chief AI Officer will monitor emerging AI technologies, establish best practices and KPIs, and represent Plintron's AI vision in executive forums, partner discussions, and industry events.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in AI strategy and leadership, including experience defining and executing enterprise-wide AI roadmaps.
• Strong background in machine learning, data science, and analytics, with hands-on experience in deploying models at scale.
• Experience in cloud-native architectures, telecom platforms, or large-scale digital infrastructure, ideally within MVNO/MVNE or related domains.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor cross-functional AI teams, and to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and ethical AI practices in global, multi-country environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex AI topics into business outcomes.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
• Track record of delivering AI-driven innovation that improves operational efficiency, customer engagement, or revenue growth.
