Role Overview
The AI Transformation Director leads the organization's enterprise-wide artificial intelligence strategy, driving digital innovation, operational excellence, and business transformation through the adoption of emerging AI technologies. The role is responsible for identifying AI opportunities, governing implementation programs, and ensuring AI solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's AI transformation strategy, roadmap, and governance framework.
- Lead enterprise AI initiatives, including automation, machine learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics programs.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation, productivity improvement, and service enhancement.
- Establish AI governance, risk management, ethics, and compliance standards aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee AI solution design, implementation, adoption, and performance measurement across business functions.
- Drive data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and AI-enabled insights.
- Build and lead high-performing AI, data science, and transformation teams while fostering an innovation culture.
- Manage relationships with technology partners, vendors, and key stakeholders to accelerate AI maturity.
- Ensure AI investments deliver measurable business value, operational efficiency, and customer experience improvements.
- Monitor emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and best practices to maintain organizational competitiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in digital transformation, technology leadership, AI strategy, or enterprise innovation.
- Proven track record leading large-scale AI, automation, or data transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, data governance, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies.
- Experience in stakeholder management, change management, and executive-level engagement.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
