Job summary

Agile Consultants seeks a Procurement Officer in Dubai to manage sourcing of chemicals, minerals, and fertilizers. Requires at least 2 years in chemical procurement, strong supplier networks, and regional experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of procurement experience in the chemical industry.
• Strong chemical supplier knowledge and an established supplier network.
• Regional chemical procurement experience preferred.
• Experience sourcing chemicals, minerals, and fertilizers.
• Strong supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience dealing with manufacturers, suppliers, and traders.
• Knowledge of pricing, MOQ, lead times, and shipping terms.
• Knowledge of international purchasing and import procedures.
• Strong supplier relationship management and follow-up skills.
• Local experience with an established chemical supplier network is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure chemicals, minerals, and fertilizers based on business requirements.
• Identify and evaluate suitable manufacturers, suppliers, and traders.
• Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation activities.
• Negotiate and evaluate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and shipping terms.
• Handle international purchasing and coordinate import procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with chemical suppliers.
• Conduct regular supplier follow-ups to ensure procurement requirements are met.
• Utilize existing chemical supplier knowledge and networks to identify sourcing opportunities.
