Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Procurement Officer in Dubai to manage purchasing activities and ensure timely availability of materials, products, and services. The role requires strong coordination, negotiation, and supplier-management skills to optimize costs and supplier performance.

You will handle day-to-day procurement, source suppliers, prepare POs, negotiate terms, and coordinate across departments to maintain records and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities
• Source suppliers and compare quotations, prices, and product specifications
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on approvals
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation
• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and outstanding requirements
• Coordinate with finance, warehouse, logistics, and other departments
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain supplier relationships
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards
• Ensure procurement activities follow company procedures and policies
