Job summary

AURA Skypool is hiring a Chef de Partie to run a section (grill, hot, cold or pastry) in its busy premium kitchen at The Palm Tower, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. You will work closely with the Sous Chef to maintain quality, minimise wastage and hit ticket times during peak service.

As a technically strong chef with at least two years’ section experience, you will supervise commis chefs, ensure hygiene standards, and contribute to menu development under senior chefs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume premium kitchen.
• Strong technical skills in your section with knowledge of multiple cuisines.
• Ability to work quickly, cleanly and accurately under pressure.
• Solid understanding of HACCP, food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Culinary qualification or equivalent kitchen training preferred.
• Flexibility to work shifts, split shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Run an assigned kitchen section (grill, hot, cold or pastry) during prep and service.
• Prepare and present dishes consistently to recipe specifications and plating standards.
• Supervise and guide commis chefs within the section, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Manage mise en place, section stock levels, rotation and wastage control.
• Maintain ticket times and communicate clearly with the pass during peak service.
• Keep the section clean, organised and compliant with hygiene standards at all times.
• Support menu development, tastings and training as directed by senior chefs.
