The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a kitchen professional to prepare, portion and present dishes in line with our Gold Standards. You will monitor ovens and equipment, manage food storage and maintain logs while collaborating with the culinary and service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items as required.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
• Pull food from freezer to thaw; ensure proper portions, arrangement and garnish.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity of food produced.
• Inform staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items; coordinate with F&B service team.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees; model professional conduct.
