Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items according to recipes and standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters and monitor quality/quantity of prepared food.
• Maintain food logs and communicate needs during busy periods; inform staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees.
