Job summary

confidential is seeking a vigilant Rigger in Dubai to support lifting operations, prepare loads, and work closely with crane operators and site teams to ensure safe handling of materials.

You will inspect lifting accessories, select appropriate rigging gear, and follow established procedures while maintaining clear communication on busy construction sites in the UAE. This role requires physical fitness, willingness to work shifts, and strict adherence to PPE and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Rigger in construction, industrial, marine, oil & gas or lifting operations is an advantage.
• Freshers with relevant rigging training or certification may apply.
• Knowledge of basic rigging techniques and lifting procedures.
• Familiarity with slings, shackles, hooks, chains, and lifting accessories.
• UAE/GCC construction or industrial experience is an advantage.
• Valid Rigger certification or competency qualification is an advantage where applicable.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and inspect lifting accessories before lifting activities.
• Select appropriate slings, shackles, hooks, chains, and other rigging equipment.
• Secure and balance loads before lifting or moving.
• Provide clear signals to crane operators.
• Coordinate with crane operators and site teams.
• Follow lifting plans and safety requirements.
• Report unsafe conditions and incidents.
• Maintain rigging tools and accessories.
