Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in rigging and lifting operations from a recognized institution is required.
• LOLER or similar safety certifications are preferred.
• 3–5 years of rigging experience in oil and gas projects is ideal.
• Experience with cranes and hoisting equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and inspect rigging equipment before use to ensure safety.
• Set up rigging for lifting heavy equipment in oil and gas facilities.
• Select appropriate rigging gear based on load weight and dimensions.
• Attach loads to cranes following safety procedures and guide movements.
• Collaborate with crane operators to execute lifts safely and efficiently.
• Inspect rigging equipment regularly and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with safety standards and site safety protocols.
• Assist in loading and unloading heavy materials at project sites.
