We are seeking a senior BI/Category analyst to define advanced analytics strategies, support major clients with reporting, and drive category management aligned with client KPIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CPG industry experience, natural/organic preferred.
• Expertise in selling story development and category management.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; data synthesis.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong client-facing communication for retailer presentations.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a BI strategy aligned with Insights Pillar.
• Support top clients with reporting and performance analysis.
• Develop category reviews and selling stories from shopper data.
• Lead business reviews and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with sales for account presentations on new items.
• Conduct post-promotional analyses to optimize ROI.
• Refine reporting methodologies and identify opportunities.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Define and implement an advanced business intelligence strategy aligned with the Insights Pillar vision
• Support top clients with reporting, retailer category reviews, and performance analysis
• Drive proficiency in analytical tools including SPINS, Nielsen, IRI, and Mintel
• Develop and execute category management strategies aligned with client KPIs
• Create fact-based category reviews and selling stories integrating shopper and consumer insights
• Lead and present business reviews and strategic recommendations to clients and retailers
• Partner with sales teams to deliver account presentations on new items and assortment strategies
• Conduct post-promotional analyses to optimize future planning and ROI
• Refine methodologies for reporting, distribution void identification, and opportunity gap quantification

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of CPG industry experience (Natural/Specialty/Organic food and beverage preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in SymphonyAI (Shopper360), SPINS (Satori), Nielsen, and IRI
• Expertise in selling story development and category management principles
• Highly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
• Strong communication skills for translating data into compelling narratives

• Extensive Nielsen experience
• Experience presenting directly to retailers
