Job summary

athGADLANG is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Operations Manager to oversee cash handling across multiple Dubai locations, ensure secure deposits, and maintain strong internal controls. You will reconcile card and digital payments, manage associated reports, and drive process improvements in collaboration with Finance, IT, and Operations teams.

Responsibilities include supervising Cash Control Associates, resolving discrepancies, and supporting audits with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Experience in cash operations, cash control, reconciliation, or payment operations.
• Practical experience managing cash handling, deposits, and transaction reconciliation.
• Knowledge of card payment systems, digital payments, and POS systems.
• Experience reviewing sales, cashier reconciliations, revenue-sharing, and transaction records.
• Understanding of financial controls, fraud prevention, and audit requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Experience with financial systems, payment platforms, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash handling across locations with secure storage, transfers, and deposits.
• Implement and monitor financial controls to minimise theft, losses, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with payment providers to ensure seamless processing and reconciliation.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of credit card and digital payments; investigate discrepancies.
• Supervise Cash Control Associates and ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain accurate records of cash and digital transactions for audits.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly reports including cashier reconciliations and DSRs.
• Monitor system-generated reports and perform manual checks when needed.
• Analyze cash flow and POS data to identify trends and operational improvements.
• Coordinate with IT, Treasury, Finance, Ops to resolve payment system issues.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and transaction records.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve reconciliation efficiency.
