Job summary

Al Sahraa Recruitment Services in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Cargo Supervisor to oversee loading/unloading operations, inventory control, and regulatory compliance. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field and a minimum of five years of cargo handling experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.

The candidate will supervise staff, coordinate with the logistics team, and ensure safety, quality, and timely Cargo movements.

• Minimum of 5 years of cargo handling experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• Strong knowledge of cargo handling and transportation regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the loading and unloading of cargo from trucks, ships and other modes of transportation
• Ensure that all cargo is properly secured and stored to prevent damage during transportation
• Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for ongoing operations
• Conduct regular inspections of cargo and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with logistics team to plan and schedule cargo deliveries to meet project timelines
• Communicate with clients and vendors to coordinate the movement of cargo and resolve any issues that may arise
• Train and supervise cargo handling personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Maintain accurate records of all cargo movements and prepare reports as needed
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as local and international regulations related to cargo handling and transportation

Rotation: 60/30

Key Responsibilities:
