Job summary

S Eight Transport & Logistics in Fujairah seeks an experienced operations professional to manage breakbulk and project cargo from vessel discharge to final delivery. You will coordinate with port authorities, shipping agents, transporters, equipment suppliers and clients to plan movements based on weight, dimensions and road/port restrictions.

Qualifications

• Proven UAE experience in breakbulk, project cargo, OOG, RoRo or heavy cargo operations.
• Practical experience with cranes, forklifts and port operations.
• Understanding of cargo dimensions, weights and trailer planning.
• Experience at Fujairah Port, Khalid Port, Hamriyah or Jebel Ali preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination with clients, drivers, port teams and authorities.

• Coordinate permits escorts vehicle access gate passes and approvals.
• Maintain tally records trip records timesheets and supporting documents.
• Communicate with clients and management about status delays requirements and risks.
• Identify issues early and take action to resolve them; ensure safe operations.

• Manage breakbulk and project cargo operations from vessel discharge through final delivery
• Coordinate with port authorities shipping agents transporters equipment suppliers stevedores and clients
• Plan cargo movements based on weight dimensions trailer capacity and applicable road port restrictions
• Coordinate flatbeds lowbeds cranes forklifts manpower stevedores and other operational equipment
• Monitor vessel discharge cargo loading transport offloading and yard operations
• Handle oversized and OOG cargo movement requirements
• Coordinate permits escorts vehicle access gate passes and operational approvals
• Maintain proper tally records trip records timesheets and operational supporting documents
• Communicate clearly with clients and management regarding operational status delays requirements and risks
• Identify operational issues early and take immediate action to resolve them
• Ensure safe and efficient cargo handling throughout the operation

Requirements

• Proven UAE experience in breakbulk, project cargo, OOG cargo, RoRo, or heavy cargo operations
• Practical experience with cranes, forklifts, stevedores, flatbeds, lowbeds, and port operations
• Understanding of cargo dimensions, weights, trailer planning, and operational restrictions
• Experience in Fujairah Port, Khalid Port, Hamriyah, Jebel Ali, or similar UAE ports is highly preferred
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Confident dealing with clients, drivers, port teams, contractors, and authorities
• Street-smart, energetic, and comfortable working both in the office and in the field
• Able to work under pressure during vessel and cargo operations
• Must be willing to work in Fujairah
• Immediate joiners will be given preference
