Job summary

Etihad Airways in Al Ain is seeking a Cargo Revenue Accounting Officer responsible for the end-to-end revenue cycle, accuracy of cargo billing, and strict adherence to financial controls. You will coordinate with Cargo Operations, Commercial, Finance, and stations to ensure revenue completeness and timely reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 4–5 years of experience in airline revenue accounting, with leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of cargo revenue accounting experience with supervisory capacity preferred.
• Strong knowledge of airline cargo revenue processes, interline, CASS, SIS and related financial systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cargo revenue billing and accounting activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure transactions are recorded and processed per timelines and controls.
• Monitor billing cycles and address delays or exceptions in SIS per IATA guidelines.
• Maintain strong financial controls to ensure revenue completeness and accuracy.
• Oversee revenue adjustments, credits, and post-billing adjustments and investigate discrepancies.
