Waiter / Captain Luxury Fine Dining Restaurant | Dubai, UAE

We are hiring an experienced, professional and guest-focused Waiter / Captain to join a luxury fine dining restaurant in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent table service, maintaining the assigned section, and ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, professional, and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and serve guests in a warm and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen and bar. Have excellent knowledge of the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, prices, and promotions. Explain menu items and confidently recommend food and beverages. Use professional upselling techniques to increase sales. Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and ready for service. Take full responsibility for the assigned section throughout the shift. Monitor guest needs and respond quickly to requests. Follow up on food and beverage service times and delays. Pay special attention to VIP guests, celebrations, allergies, and dietary requirements. Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, reception, cashier, and other team members. Handle minor guest complaints professionally and escalated serious issues to management. Check bills carefully and ensure orders, discounts, and payments are accurate. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the assigned section. Complete opening, closing, and handover duties. Follow all restaurant service, grooming, and uniform and conduct standards.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a waiter in a high‑end restaurant or luxury hospitality environment. Fluent English is mandatory. Arabic is an advantage. Excellent communication and guest‑service skills. Strong menu knowledge and upselling skills. Professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods. Responsible, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented. Passion for delivering high‑quality service.
