Position Overview Al-Futtaim is hiring a Buying Coordinator in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates for an Automotive role supporting vehicle acquisition, purchasing administration, stock reporting, and inventory movement. The position is responsible for keeping buying data accurate and current while coordinating vehicle movements between buying locations, workshops, preparation facilities, and sales locations. Working closely with the Buying Manager and other operational teams, the Buying Coordinator will maintain purchasing records in SAP and approved systems, prepare management reports, track vehicle preparation, and ensure documentation remains complete and audit-ready.

Buying Reports and Administration

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly buying reports within required timelines.
• Maintain stock reports and management trackers with accurate information.
• Support the Buying Manager with administrative activities and report preparation.
• Keep vehicle purchasing documentation complete, organised, and current.
• Review records for missing information, approvals, or reporting variances.
• Escalate identified exceptions through the appropriate internal process.

Vehicle Purchasing Records

• Create and update vehicle purchase records in SAP and other approved systems.
• Maintain accurate costing, mileage, location, status, and stock information.
• Reconcile purchasing and stock data to identify inconsistencies.
• Protect confidential information and maintain records according to company procedures.
• Keep supporting documentation accurate and ready for operational or audit requirements.

Stock Movement Coordination

• Coordinate stock transfer orders between relevant locations.
• Arrange vehicle movements involving buying locations, workshops, preparation facilities, and sales locations.
• Track vehicle status throughout the movement and preparation process.
• Follow up on cleaning, servicing, and preparation activities.
• Confirm that vehicles progress toward sales readiness within operational requirements.
• Communicate with relevant departments to resolve delays or data discrepancies.
