Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a commis chef in a hotel or restaurant setting.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Passion for food and cooking with a keen interest in learning.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support the Culinary team in preparing dishes and setting up food and equipment.
• Assist with meat, poultry, and other butchery prep according to kitchen requirements.
• Ensure meat products are properly labelled, stored, and kept at correct temperatures with HACCP in mind.
• Assist Demi Chef De Parties and Chef De Parties in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Maintain butchery equipment and workstations in a clean, hygienic, and safe condition.
