Job summary

Accor is seeking a professional Bus Team Leader to join our transportation operations in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee and coordinate bus operations, lead a team of drivers, ensure safety, and drive service excellence in a luxury hospitality setting.

The role requires 3–5 years in bus operations, strong leadership and communication skills, and knowledge of safety regulations. Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in bus operations or related field.
• Proven leadership experience with excellent team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of bus operations and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Familiarity with the public transportation industry in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
• Experience in bus fleet management.
• Thorough understanding of local safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of bus drivers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
• Coordinate daily bus operations, including route assignments and scheduling
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain accurate records
• Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns
• Implement and monitor driver training programs
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure proper vehicle upkeep
• Analyze route efficiency and suggest improvements
• Handle emergency situations and make quick, informed decisions
• Prepare and submit reports on team performance and operational metrics
