Job summary

GSS Tech Group in the UAE seeks a Brokerage Platform Lead to own the platform lifecycle from onboarding to settlement, ensuring fast, compliant operations and reliable market connectivity to regional exchanges.

You will collaborate with trading, risk, compliance and operations teams, lead platform upgrades, and promote Agile practices while maintaining high availability and low latency in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience working on trading or brokerage platforms.
• Proven exposure to Tradenet or a comparable brokerage platform.
• Strong understanding of front to back brokerage system architecture.
• Expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS) and the FIX protocol.
• Deep knowledge of market connectivity with exchanges such as DFM, ADX and Tadawul.
• Solid grasp of institutional equities workflows, including algorithmic trading and both high touch and low touch order flows.
• Proficiency in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful services.
• Agile delivery experience using JIRA, Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full lifecycle of the brokerage platform, covering onboarding, order capture, execution, clearing and settlement.
• Work with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration with trading, risk and compliance systems.
• Drive enhancements in market connectivity, ensuring low latency and highly reliable links to regional exchanges.
• Lead platform upgrades, coordinate with vendors and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Champion Agile practices and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning and release management.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and resilience.
