Job summary

Egisgroup is seeking a Bridge Engineer to support execution and maintenance of bridge projects in Al Ain. You will assist in supervising site activities, monitoring quality, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring works meet specifications and client requirements.

Required: Civil Engineering degree, 2–3 years UAE bridge experience, ability to read drawings, and UAE driving license with own vehicle. Willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• 2–3 years of bridge construction and/or bridge maintenance experience in the UAE.
• UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
• Own vehicle for project travel (Mandatory).
• Willingness to work in Al Ain and travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of bridge structures.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare site reports, inspection requests, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Support quality control and inspection activities for bridge works.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Review construction drawings and identify technical issues.
• Assist in planning and scheduling activities to meet deadlines.
• Participate in site inspections and client/consultant meetings as required.
• Provide technical support during construction and maintenance operations.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation.
• UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
• Own vehicle available for project-related travel (Mandatory).
• Willingness to work in Al Ain and travel to project sites as required.
• Experience working on road and bridge projects for UAE government authorities or major infrastructure contractors.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and site inspection processes.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
