Job summary

Qualifications

• Substantial general work experience and broad job-related experience.
• Experience in planning and managing resources to meet objectives set by senior managers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee merchandising, financial management, and store operations to achieve sales goals.
• Manage day-to-day operations of a medium to large store with a diverse product line.
• Identify and address development needs of the team and implement professional development.
• Provide coaching to others to enhance performance and fulfil potential.
• Develop and communicate messaging for commonly raised customer issues.
• Create medium- or long-term staff schedules to meet business goals across teams.
• Monitor performance of a large diverse team and take corrective action as needed.
• Communicate strategic actions to the team and motivate employees to meet goals.
• Configure product-and-services solutions and negotiate agreements within parameters.
• Develop and deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Define order processing protocol to optimize customer experience.
• Set objectives for sales calls and gather information to meet customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer accounts with additional products/services.
• Develop relationship management plans for complex accounts and ensure information flow.
• Monitor health, safety and environment KPIs and improve compliance.
• Ensure compliance with diversity and inclusion guidelines.
