Job summary

Kempinski Hotels SA in Dubai is seeking a Back of House Manager to oversee the cleanliness, sanitation, and efficiency of the back-of-house areas, including kitchens and dishwashing stations.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will lead the stewarding team, ensure HACCP compliance, manage budgets and inventory, and coordinate with Culinary, F&B, Banquets and Purchasing to support smooth operations in a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in stewarding, kitchen operations, or BOH management.
• Experience in a 5‑star luxury hotel is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, HACCP and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sanitation, hygiene and storage across BOH operations.
• Lead stewarding team, recruit, train, schedule and evaluate staff.
• Manage equipment maintenance and repairs with engineering.
• Control inventory, costs, and purchasing in coordination with procurement.
• Liaise with Culinary, F&B, Banquets and Purchasing for smooth operations.
