Job summary

Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas in Abu Dhabi seeks a proactive BMS Operator to supervise the Building Management System and monitor all plant activities for the headquarters building services.

You will program the BMS and PPM systems, analyze plant performance, diagnose failures, and implement improvements to boost efficiency and reduce operating costs. Strong English communication is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• BMS mechanical engineering degree or equivalent with experience in operation and maintenance of building systems.
• Good command of English and ability to fault-find and rectify subsystems are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control the operation of the Building Management System (BMS).
• Monitor all plant activities in the headquarters building services.
• Provide planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and follow up.
• Analyze plant behavior against set points and adjust control parameters.
• Perform daily auditing of plant performance using BMS data logging and alarms.
• Diagnose plant faults and propose remedial actions for supervisor approval.
• Use historical data to propose system improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Program the BMS and PPM systems for automatic testing of plants.
