Job summary
Atlantis Resorts in Dubai is seeking a BMS Technician to maintain daily visibility and control of building automation systems supporting resort infrastructure. You will monitor alarms, equipment conditions and operating parameters while assisting maintenance teams with diagnostics, rectification and optimization.
Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of BMS experience, basic Siemens BMS knowledge, and the ability to read schematics.
Qualifications
- Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of practical BMS experience in a similar building or facilities environment.
- Working knowledge of Siemens BMS platforms or equivalent building automation systems.
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting HVAC controls.
- Ability to read technical drawings and control schematics.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate Building Management System screens and related interfaces.
- Review alarms and abnormal operating conditions during shifts.
- Respond to BMS faults and take corrective action within technical authority.
- Escalate unresolved faults to supervisors and Team Leader.
- Troubleshoot control panels, field controllers and related equipment.
- Inspect sensors, actuators, VFDs and field devices.
- Diagnose performance issues affecting BMS-connected systems.
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance of control components.
- Assist with installation and testing of new automation equipment.
- Optimize HVAC operation using BMS data and controls.
- Maintain routine logs of system conditions, alarms and parameters.
- Identify energy usage anomalies and support energy efficiency measures.
