Job summary

Atlantis Resorts in Dubai seeks a skilled BMS Technician 2 to monitor and operate the Building Management System across the property. You will respond to alarms, diagnose faults, and coordinate with HVAC, Electrical and Mechanical teams to ensure reliable operation of HVAC and related equipment.

The role requires 2–3 years of BMS experience, knowledge of Siemens or equivalent systems, ability to read drawings, and proactive maintenance of sensors, actuators and field devices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Automation.
• 2–3 years BMS experience in similar facility.
• Knowledge of BMS systems (Siemens or equivalent).
• Ability to read drawings and control schematics.
• Experience with HVAC controls, field devices, alarms and energy monitoring.
• Basic computer skills and building automation understanding.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot BMS screens, control panels, field controllers and automation systems.
• Respond to alarms, notifications and system faults, and take corrective action or escape when required.
• Carry out inspections, diagnostics and maintenance for sensors, actuators, VFDs, field devices and control systems.
• Support optimization of equipment operation for HVAC, pumps, fans and mechanical systems through BMS.
• Coordinate with HVAC, Electrical and Mechanical teams for system adjustments and equipment integration.
• Perform routine logging of operational parameters and energy monitoring.
• Report system issues, abnormal readings or performance deviations to supervisors and Team Leader.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with facility policies and HSE requirements.
• Maintain system cleanliness, panels, control rooms and work areas.
• Assist in calibration, repair and installation of BMS-related equipment.
• Provide recommendations for system improvement and efficiency.
• Assist Technician-1 and support training when required .
