Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a BMS Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning activities for client projects in the UAE. The role involves implementing BMS/EMS solutions, configuring servers and networks, and coordinating with sub-contractors under the guidance of project management and lead engineers.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in BMS/HVAC or controls, strong knowledge of BACnet/Modbus/MQTT, and willingness to travel to Abu Dhabi or Ajman.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 2–5 years in BMS, HVAC, or controls/automation; EBO and AS-P preferred.
• Experience with complex BMS control solutions; data centre exposure preferred.
• Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, MQTT and IP networking.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Implement BMS/EMS solutions for client projects.
• Manage site installations and sub-contractors with project team support.
• Commission solutions including software, graphics, installation, and commissioning.
• Configure BMS systems, servers, and network; integrate via Modbus, BACnet, MQTT.
• Pre-commission control panels and field devices on new/existing systems.

Job Title : BMS Commissioning Engineer

Main Play for role - Commissioning, HVAC, CPM, FHU, FCU, AHU, PLC

Location: United Arab Emirates – Abu Dhabi OR Ajman

Tenure: 12 Months extendable

Responsibilities

• Implementing BMS technical solutions for client projects using Electric’s BMS/EMS software and hardware platform


• To manage Site installations and sub-contractors with the support of Project Manager and Lead Engineers.


• To commission solutions as part of customer orders incorporating the software, graphics, installation, and commissioning of building management control systems and third-party integration.


• Configure BMS systems – setting up servers and network. Integration to other system via Modbus, Bacnet, MQTT etc.


• To pre-commission control panels, field devices onto new and existing systems

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.


• Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in BMS, HVAC, or Controls / Automation- EBO and AS-P system experience is preferred.


• Previous experience working with highly complex BMS control solutions- Experience in data centre industry is preferred.


• Clear understanding of integration of Building Systems Protocols like BACnet, modbus, MQTT etc and IP Infrastructure


• Flexible to travel.
