Job summary

CNS Engineering Service in Dubai seeks a skilled BIM/MEP Drafter to model MEP and HVAC up to LOD 450, detect clashes, and support construction drawings. You will develop MEP layouts, coordinate with engineers, and ensure drawings are accurate for on-site construction across architectural and structural inputs.

The role requires proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Navisworks, plus experience in 3D visualization and site measurement for as-built documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering field (mechanical preferred).
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection.

Responsibilities

• Create BIM Model (MEP & HVAC up to LOD 450) and perform clash detection for coordination.
• Prepare MEP Building Services Layouts.
• Coordinate with the Engineer in preparing design drawings for construction.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and make necessary corrections.
• Provide spot details / shop drawings for clarity.
• Coordinate MEP drawing with Architectural disciplines.
• Create Architectural and structural 3D models and perform clash detection.
• Create render views and walkthroughs from models; measure area on site as-built.

Job Description

• Create BIM Model (MEP & HVAC model) up to LOD 450 and do clash detection for coordination.
• Prepare MEP Building Services Layouts.
• Coordinates with the Engineer in preparation of design drawings and details for construction.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and errors and do corrections necessary for the project.
• Provides spot detail / Shop drawings for the clarity of the plans and details.
• Responsible for MEP drawing coordination with Architectural
• Create Architectural and structural 3D Model based on 2D drawings and do clash detection for coordination.
• Coordinates with the Architect ( architectural model input ) in preparation of design drawings and details for construction.
• Create render views and walkthrough videos out of the created models
• Able to use engineering sizing tools for pipes , ducts , cables , etc
• Making Site visit for the measurement of the Area, for as-built purposes.
• Extract BOQs & schedules for all MEP components such as Pipes , cable trays , cables , ducts , valves , duct accessories

Qualifications

• Diploma in on of engineering field ( mechanical preferred )

Additional Information

• Ability to work using modeling softwares such as ( Revit , AutoCAD , Plant 3D )
• Ability to use clash detection softwares such as Navisworks
• Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field
• Have fair knowledge on the MEP & HVAC system components and uses
• Ability to use Microsoft office applications
