Job summary

PeopleStrong in Sharjah seeks a Civil BIM Technician to develop and update BIM models using Revit, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Tekla–Steel and Plant 3D. You will create parametric models and construction drawings and ensure BIM standards are followed.

Require Diploma or Bachelor in Civil with 1–3 years BIM experience. Strong communication and time‑management skills; ability to prioritize with minimal guidance. Knowledge of Navisworks is a plus and you will coordinate with IT and BIM leads.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
• 1–3 years of experience in the BIM or related Industry.
• Proficient in Revit, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Tekla–Steel, Plant 3D.
• Knowledge in Navisworks and Plant 3D is preferable.
• Amicable written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet goals.
• Ability to take on additional responsibilities with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop/Update the BIM model.
• Prepare Parametric modelling using Revit and Trimble.
• Develop/Update accurate construction drawings and extract data based on the BIM platform.
• Ensure adherence to project BIM standards and execution plans.
• Extract drawings, sections, schedules, and BOQs from models.
• Coordinate the setup of shared file server with Design Team IT staff.
• Ensure BIM is used to test design requirements/criteria.
• Support clash detection and issue resolution processes.
• Liaise with Design Team BIM and IT Managers to ensure software is installed and operating properly.
• Deploy BIM standards, protocols and CAD resources within the BIM team.
