Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a BIM Modeller with strong hands-on experience in structural Revit modelling to join our precast/steel team. The role involves creating BIM models from scratch, extracting GFC drawings, and applying BIM standards on complex projects.

You will work with Navisworks for clash detection, review models for errors, and contribute to site construction activities while mentoring junior modellers and communicating clearly with teams.

Qualifications

• Experience of 6-8 years in BIM modelling field (REVIT/TEKLA Precast/TEKLA Steel/Civil3D)
• Ability to generate structural BIM models from scratch
• In-depth knowledge of BIM standards
• Ability to extract GFC drawings from BIM models
• Worked on BIM models with LOD 400
• Conversant with quantity estimation using BIM
• Ability to review BIM models and identify errors
• Experience in clash detection and resolution using Navisworks
• Ability to train other modellers in the team
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Innovative mindset to explore new opportunities

Responsibilities

• Generate structural BIM models from scratch

• Quantify from BIM for estimation purposes

• He/ She should have relevant Experience of 6-8 yrs. in BIM modelling field REVIT/TEKLA Precast/TEKLA Steel/Civil3D & ACC.


• Should be able to generate structural BIM models from scratch.


• He / She should have in depth knowledge of BIM standards


• Should be able to extract GFC drawings from BIM models.


• Should have worked on BIM models LOD 400 in the past


• Should be conversant with quantity estimation using BIM.


• Should be able to review BIM models and identify errors.


• Should have hand on experience of clash detection and resolution using Navisworks.


• He/ She should be able to train other modellers in the team


• Should have good practical knowledge of site construction activity.


• The candidate should have good verbal & written communication skills.
