Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a senior BIM engineer in the UAE to lead structural modelling efforts. The candidate will develop BIM models from scratch, ensure adherence to BIM standards, and extract GFC drawings for construction use.

The role involves clash detection with Navisworks, quantity estimation from BIM data, and mentoring junior modellers. Strong communication skills and site coordination experience are required.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in BIM modelling field using REVIT, TEKLA Precast/TEKLA Steel/Civil3D & ACC.
• Ability to generate structural BIM models from scratch.
• Deep knowledge of BIM standards and drawing extraction (GFC).
• Experience with BIM models at LOD 400.
• Proficiency in quantity estimation from BIM data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver structural BIM models from scratch.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards and project workflows.
• Extract GFC drawings from BIM models for construction use.
• Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks.
• Train other modellers and support the team with BIM practices.

• The candidate must have experience of Structural Revit modelling
• He/ She should have relevant Experience of 6-8 yrs. in BIM modelling field REVIT/TEKLA Precast/TEKLA Steel/Civil3D & ACC.
• Should be able to generate structural BIM models from scratch.
• He / She should have in depth knowledge of BIM standards
• Should be able to extract GFC drawings from BIM models.
• Should have worked on BIM models LOD 400 in the past
• Should be conversant with quantity estimation using BIM.
• Should be able to review BIM models and identify errors.
• Should have hand on experience of clash detection and resolution using Navisworks.
• He/ She should be able to train other modellers in the team
• Should have good practical knowledge of site construction activity.
• The candidate should have good verbal & written communication skills.
