Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a BIM specialist with 6-8 years of experience in structural BIM modelling using Revit, Tekla, Civil 3D. The role requires generating BIM models from scratch and maintaining BIM standards.

You will extract GFC drawings, ensure LOD 400 models, support quantity estimation, perform clash detection with Navisworks, and train junior modellers. Excellent communication and site construction knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• He/ She should have relevant Experience of 6-8 yrs. in BIM modelling field REVIT/TEKLA Precast/TEKLA Steel/Civil3D & ACC.
• Should be able to generate structural BIM models from scratch.
• He / She should have in depth knowledge of BIM standards
• Should be able to extract GFC drawings from BIM models.
• Should have worked on BIM models LOD 400 in the past
• Should be conversant with quantity estimation using BIM.
• Should be able to review BIM models and identify errors.
• Should have hand on experience of clash detection and resolution using Navisworks.
• He/ She should be able to train other modellers in the team
• Should have good practical knowledge of site construction activity.
• The candidate should have good verbal & written communication skills.
