Job summary

Gulf Institute in Dubai is seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to develop accurate 3D BIM models using Revit and other BIM software, and to prepare 2D drawings, 3D views, sections and details in line with project standards.

You will coordinate with engineers, architects and project teams, resolve design clashes with Navisworks, produce shop and as-built drawings, and maintain documentation through design, coordination and construction stages.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 25 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D BIM models using Revit and other BIM software.
• Prepare and modify 2D drawings, 3D models, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings.
• Create BIM models based on architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other project team members.
• Identify and resolve design clashes using BIM coordination tools.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation.
• Ensure model accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Update BIM models based on design revisions and site requirements.
• Maintain proper drawing records and project documentation.
• Support project teams during design, coordination, and construction stages.
