Job summary

Gardinia Contracting, the integrated construction arm of Azizi Developments in Dubai, seeks a seasoned BIM Modeler to develop detailed electrical BIM models for pools and site lighting. You will support design coordination, documentation, and construction across UAE real estate projects.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of BIM experience with pool and lighting systems, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for electrical systems related to swimming pools and site/building lighting networks
• Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, mechanical, and landscape disciplines to identify clashes
• Prepare electrical working drawings, single-line diagrams, sections, details, and quantity take-offs from BIM models
• Ensure models comply with BEP, ISO 19650 and company/client standards
• Update and revise models based on design changes, RFIs, and site instructions
• Extract data from models for material scheduling, cost estimation and procurement support

As a BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for developing detailed electrical BIM models covering pool electrical systems and lighting design, supporting design coordination, documentation, and construction across live UAE-based real estate and community development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for electrical systems related to swimming pools (pumps, controls, underwater lighting, bonding/earthing) and site/building lighting networks
• Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, mechanical, and landscape disciplines to identify and resolve clashes
• Prepare electrical working drawings, single-line diagrams, sections, details, and quantity take-offs from BIM models
• Ensure models comply with project BIM execution plans (BEP), LOD requirements, and company/client standards
• Update and revise models based on design changes, RFIs, and site instructions
• Support preparation of BIM coordination reports and clash detection logs
• Liaise with electrical consultants, pool consultants, and site teams to ensure model accuracy against design intent
• Extract data from models for material scheduling, cost estimation, and procurement support
• Maintain version control and manage model data within the Common Data Environment (CDE)
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and design reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler, with dedicated experience in electrical systems for pool and lighting projects
• Proven experience working on projects in the UAE is mandatory
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Working knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650) and BEP documentation
• Strong understanding of pool electrical systems, lighting design principles, and relevant UAE electrical codes/standards
