BIM MEP Modeler (French Speaker) for Data Centers

Job summary

DataOne in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a BIM MEP Modeler to contribute to BIM models and fabrication drawings for data center projects. You will model MEP systems and equipment, and support Scan-to-BIM activities using 3D point clouds to produce reliable models for design and construction documentation.

You will collaborate with engineers, BIM coordinators and construction teams, ensuring compliance with project standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MEP modeling, preferably on construction or data center projects.
• Proficiency in BIM modeling software, ideally Autodesk Revit.
• Experience producing fabrication drawings and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of point clouds and Scan-to-BIM workflows; Autodesk ReCap is a plus.
• Ability to meet project standards and deadlines.
• Good communication and collaborative mindset.
• Knowledge of ARC/STR disciplines would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Twinmotion would also be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Model MEP systems, equipment and supports per documents and specs.
• Create fabrication and coordination drawings for prefabrication.
• Use 3D point clouds to model existing conditions (Scan-to-BIM).
• Review survey data and flag discrepancies.
• Identify clashes and coordinate across disciplines.
• Ensure model and drawing quality before submission.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Follow project BIM standards and document-control procedures.
