Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking a BIM Manager to lead the development, implementation and quality control of BIM standards and processes across construction projects. You will oversee BIM models, shop drawings and related workflows to meet project requirements.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors, provide training, and stay updated on BIM advancements. The role emphasizes ensuring model accuracy, timely deliverables, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management or related field.
• Extensive experience with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and shop drawing requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce BIM standards and workflows.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure BIM integration.
• Oversee creation, maintenance and updating of BIM models and shop drawings.
• Conduct quality control checks on BIM models and shop drawings against project specs.
• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM tools and processes.
• Manage BIM software installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
