Job description

The BIM Manager / BIM Lead will oversee BIM implementation and coordination across architectural, engineering, and construction projects, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of digital models. Responsibilities include managing BIM standards, developing workflows, supervising model creation, and leading coordination meetings among multidisciplinary teams. The role involves resolving clashes, maintaining model integrity, supporting project documentation, and collaborating closely with project managers and design leads. The BIM Manager / BIM Lead will also mentor BIM technicians and engineers, provide training on tools and processes, and contribute to continuous improvement of BIM practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and processes, with experience managing BIM deliverables on complex projects.
• Demonstrated capability in BIM Coordination, including clash detection, model integration, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Experience in Virtual Design and construction workflows, including 3D modeling, visualization, and digital project review.
• Background in Architecture or engineering disciplines, with understanding of design standards and construction documentation.
• Solid knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within BIM models.
• Experience with leading BIM platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 or similar) and related collaboration tools.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain BIM standards, templates, and guidelines across projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and model quality.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, including the ability to guide, train, and support project teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Prior experience in a BIM Manager, BIM Lead, or similar role within the AEC industry, preferably on large-scale or complex projects.
