Job summary
AECOM Middle East Ltd in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior BIM Engineer to lead BIM coordination and digital delivery on major construction supervision projects. You will manage BIM processes during construction, coordinate multidisciplinary models, resolve clashes, and maintain asset information for handover.
The role requires 10-15 years of experience with at least 5 years in BIM management on large projects, and a strong capability in federated model coordination and digital
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architecture or related discipline.
- 10-15 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years of BIM management on major construction supervision projects.
- BIM certifications desirable.
- Experience coordinating architectural, structural, MEP and specialist disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead BIM implementation and management during construction supervision.
- Coordinate federated BIM models across architectural, structural, MEP and specialist disciplines.
- Review BIM execution plans, model submissions and digital deliverables.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary model coordination meetings and resolve clashes.
- Support construction teams with coordinated model views and BIM-enabled reporting.
- Mentor BIM Engineers, Coordinators and Technicians.
