Job summary

Elliot Scott Group is hiring a BIM Engineer in Abu Dhabi to develop and manage digital BIM models across design, fabrication and on-site installation for modular projects.

The role requires strong coordination of architectural, structural and MEP disciplines, proficiency with Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, and a proactive approach to ensuring model accuracy and documentation quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 13 years of BIM modeling experience in modular prefabricated or steel-structure construction.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit Navisworks AutoCAD and other BIM tools.
• Solid understanding of modular design principles off-site fabrication and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail organizational ability and documentation accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic an advantage.
• Prior UAE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and update detailed 3D BIM models for modular, prefabricated and steel-structure projects.
• Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve design clashes using BIM tools such as Navisworks.
• Produce shop drawings, fabrication details and quantity take-offs directly from BIM models with a high degree of accuracy.
• Support design, production and site teams by providing BIM-related technical input and ensuring model consistency.
• Maintain and organize BIM documentation templates and workflows.
• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure full design coordination.
• Participate in model reviews, coordination meetings and clash detection sessions.
• Assist in developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), standards and templates.
• Conduct model audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Stay current with emerging BIM technologies, modular methods and digital construction trends.

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented BIM Engineer with experience in modular and prefabricated building construction to join a growing technical team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing coordinating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) throughout all project stages from design development to fabrication and on-site installation. This role requires strong technical knowledge excellent coordination skills and a proactive approach to integrating multiple disciplines into accurate and efficient digital models.
