Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced BIM Designer to develop and manage BIM/Revit models for MEP, ICT, ELV, and BMS disciplines on landmark projects.

You will coordinate 3D models, produce shop drawings and as-built documentation, and support BEP and ISO 19650 standards while maintaining project content and BIM templates in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, BIM Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of BIM/Revit experience within an engineering consultancy, preferably in Data Centers Projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Experience in MEP, ICT, ELV, Fire Protection, and BMS modelling and coordination.
• Experience producing coordinated 3D models, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate BIM/Revit models for MEP, ICT, ELV, Fire Protection, and BMS in accordance with project requirements.
• Produce coordinated 3D models, detailed drawings, schedules, sections, and documentation throughout all project stages.
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built models for review and project delivery.
• Coordinate BIM models with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, ICT, Fire Protection, and Security disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
• Perform clash detection and participate in coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts.
• Support development of engineering models for HVAC, Plumbing, Public Health, ELV, BMS, and sustainability requirements under design engineers.
• Ensure BIM models comply with BIM standards, BEP, client requirements, and local regulations.
• Maintain BIM families, templates, and project content in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in preparation and coordination of commissioning documentation where required.
• Update BIM models throughout design and construction phases to reflect approved changes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate BIM/Revit models for (MEP), ICT, ELV, Fire Protection, and (BMS) in accordance with project requirements.

• Ensure BIM models comply with company BIM standards, project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), client requirements, and applicable local regulations.
• Maintain BIM families, templates, and project content in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of commissioning documentation where required.
• Update BIM models throughout the design and construction phases to reflect approved design changes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, BIM Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of BIM/Revit experience within an engineering consultancy prefferably in Data Centers Projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Experience in MEP, ICT, ELV, Fire Protection, and BMS modelling and coordination.
• Experience producing coordinated 3D models, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Knowledge of clash detection, BIM standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ISO 19650 is an advantage.
