Job summary

Parsons is seeking a BIM-CAD Specialist in Abu Dhabi, UAE to support landscape design delivery across multidisciplinary projects. The role focuses on developing landscape BIM models and technical drawings using Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related platforms, with model development requirements ranging from LOD 100 to LOD 350.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Landscape, Urban Planning, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of demonstrable BIM-CAD design production experience in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Landscape project experience is preferred.
• In-depth working knowledge of Autodesk products: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide project-specific BIM and CAD support to landscape and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Create landscape BIM models and drawings in Revit and Civil 3D to meet client requirements from LOD 100 through LOD 350.
• Prepare landscape drawings including general arrangements, grading plans, layouts, details, and related technical documentation.
• Develop drawings from sketches, engineering information, design inputs, and established project requirements.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks and Revizto.
• Apply established design and drafting standards, procedures, and technical requirements throughout project delivery.
• Compile design information and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for landscape drawings.
• Read and interpret orthographic 2D drawings, isometric 3D designs, and supplier or manufacturer drawings.

What You 'll Be Doing

• Provide project-specific BIM and CAD support to landscape and multidisciplinary design teams.

• Use applicable technical manuals and directives to maintain compliance with project requirements and company procedures.


• Apply working knowledge of relevant information management and BIM standards, including ISO 19650 and BS 1192.

Software and Model Coordination

The BIM-CAD Specialist will work extensively with Autodesk design applications and multidisciplinary digital models. The role requires practical understanding of model development, drawing production, clash detection, design coordination, and information exchange within a BIM-enabled project environment. What Required Skills You 'll Bring

• In-depth working knowledge of current Autodesk products, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.


• Strong proficiency in BIM and CAD processes.


• Experience providing BIM-CAD instruction and training.


• Ability to produce and interpret 2D and 3D technical design information.


• Computer proficiency and practical ability to use relevant design software.
