Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to support the HALCON Legal Department. You will conduct legal research, draft opinions and contracts, maintain records, and ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements in English and Arabic.

The role requires a law degree, 3–5 years of experience, strong drafting and research skills, and fluency in Arabic and English. You will work across business units, stay updated on laws, and handle day-to-day legal enquiries in a fast‑paced,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law.
• 3–5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Research case-related factual issues using in-house files and references.
• Draft legal documents and pleadings in English and Arabic.
• Conduct due diligence on contracts to ensure statutory compliance.
• Maintain records and manage the legal database and law library.
• Stay up to date on current laws and legal practices.
• Handle day-to-day operational legal enquiries from business units.
