Job summary

Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) seeks a Legal Counsel to provide legal and regulatory guidance across Masdar entities in Abu Dhabi. The role requires drafting and reviewing contracts in English and Arabic, advising on UAE employment and corporate law, and supporting investment lifecycles while managing governance and risk.

The candidate should hold a law degree, be admitted to practice in the UAE or an international jurisdiction, and have 2–3 years PQE with bilingual English/Arabic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university.
• Admitted to practice in the UAE or internationally recognized jurisdiction.
• 2–3 years post-qualification experience.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Support investment lifecycles and manage risk.
• Draft and review contracts in Arabic and English.
• Handle corporate governance matters across Masdar entities and subsidiaries.
• Provide transactional support and advise on UAE laws (employment, company, energy sector).
• Coordinate with external legal counsel.
