Job summary

Leading Investment Firm Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates seeks an in-house Senior Counsel (Arabic Speaking) to provide comprehensive corporate and commercial legal support. The role requires bilingual proficiency, drafting and negotiating documents in Arabic and English across governance, entity establishment, and major contracts.

The ideal candidate has 7–12+ years PQE, strong UAE corporate law knowledge, and the ability to advise senior executives while coordinating with external counsel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent; Master of Laws (LL.M.) or professional qualification advantageous.
• 7–12+ years PQE in top-tier law firm or leading investment firm or major corporate enterprise.
• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English; native-style drafting in Arabic for corporate docs.
• Deep knowledge of UAE corporate law, SPV structures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and finalize board resolutions, minutes, delegations of authority, and related documents.
• Advise executive leadership on governance, regulatory compliance, and corporate obligations.
• Provide end-to-end legal support for entity establishment, MOAs, AOAs, POAs, shareholder agreements, and corporate charters.
• Structure, draft, review, and negotiate major commercial agreements and strategic contracts.
• Manage external counsel and coordinate on complex matters across business units.
