Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a friendly Bellman to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and escort guests to rooms while upholding Minor International’s high service standards.

You will coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Housekeeping to ensure smooth arrivals and departures, sharing local tips, and helping guests have a memorable stay. Fluent English required; weekend shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest-facing hotel role is preferred.
• Friendly and service-oriented personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and greet guests upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage during check-in, check-out, and room changes.
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide basic information about hotel facilities and services.
• Handle and store guest luggage safely and accurately.
• Assist with arranging taxis and transportation when required.
• Deliver guest items, messages, parcels, and other requested materials promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel entrance, lobby, and luggage storage areas.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and other departments to fulfil guest requests.
• Handle guest requests and concerns courteously and elevate issues when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage during check-in, check-out, and room changes.
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide basic information about hotel facilities and services.
• Handle and store guest luggage safely and accurately.
• Assist with arranging taxis and transportation when required.
• Deliver guest items, messages, parcels, and other requested materials promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel entrance, lobby, and luggage storage areas.
• Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, restaurants, local attractions, and transportation.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and other departments to fulfil guest requests.
• Handle guest requests and concerns courteously and elevate issues when necessary.
• Maintain professional grooming, appearance, and behaviour at all times.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and guest confidentiality procedures.
• Support the Front Office team in creating memorable and personalized guest experiences.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Bellman or in a guest-facing hotel role is preferred.
• Friendly, energetic, and service-oriented personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle guest luggage safely.
• Good knowledge of Dubai and local attractions is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
