Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead our stewarding team, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation and organization across kitchen and back‑of‑house areas.

You will supervise daily activities, maintain HACCP standards, train staff, and coordinate with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth operations. Previous supervisory experience and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Stewarding, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, HACCP, and safe chemical handling.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are properly cleaned and stored.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in accordance with hotel and HACCP requirements.
• Monitor the proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure waste is handled and disposed of according to hotel procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, dishwashing areas, and storage areas.
• Prepare duty rosters and allocate tasks according to operational requirements.
• Train, guide, and motivate stewarding team members.
• Coordinate closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages, breakages, or equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
