Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a friendly Bellman to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions. You will work closely with Front Office, Concierge, and Housekeeping to ensure a smooth guest experience in a premium setting.

The ideal candidate is physically fit, has strong communication skills, and is flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous guest-facing hotel experience is preferred.
• Friendly, energetic and service-oriented.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent English; other languages an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage during check-in/check-out and room changes.
• Escort guests to rooms and provide basic information about facilities.
• Handle and store guest luggage safely and accurately.
• Arrange taxis and transportation when required.
• Deliver items, messages, parcels, and other requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of entrance, lobby, and luggage storage areas.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, restaurants, and local attractions.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and greet guests upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage during check-in, check-out, and room changes.
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide basic information about hotel facilities and services.
• Handle and store guest luggage safely and accurately.
• Assist with arranging taxis and transportation when required.
• Deliver guest items, messages, parcels, and other requested materials promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel entrance, lobby, and luggage storage areas.
• Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, restaurants, local attractions, and transportation.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and other departments to fulfil guest requests.
• Handle guest requests and concerns courteously and escalates issues when necessary.
• Maintain professional grooming, appearance, and behaviour at all times.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and guest confidentiality procedures.
• Support the Front Office team in creating memorable and personalized guest experiences.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Bellman or in a guest-facing hotel role is preferred.
• Friendly, energetic, and service-oriented personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle guest luggage safely.
• Good knowledge of Dubai and local attractions is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
