Job summary

Simone's Tutoring is recruiting a skilled Behaviour Therapist to design and implement evidence-based intervention programmes for children with autism and developmental disabilities. You will collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behaviour and meaningful skill development.

Minimum 2 years ABA or behaviour therapy experience and a valid UAE licence (DHA/DOH/MOHAP) or eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behaviour Analysis, or related field.
• Valid UAE healthcare professional licence (DHA/DOH/MOHAP) or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBA).
• Design and implement behaviour intervention plans (BIPs).
• Deliver 1:1 and group ABA or evidence-based behaviour therapy.
• Train parents and caregivers in behaviour management strategies.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, OTs, SLTs, and teachers.
• Monitor and graphically display data on behaviour targets.
• Review and adjust programmes based on data and feedback.

• Deliver 1:1 and group ABA or evidence-based behaviour therapy
• Train parents and caregivers in behaviour management strategies
• Collaborate with BCBAs, OTs, SLTs, and teachers
• Monitor and graphically display data on behaviour targets
• Review and adjust programmes based on data and team feedback

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behaviour Analysis, or related field
• Valid DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licence (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years ABA or behaviour therapy experience
• Experience working with children with ASD or developmental disabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• RBT certification or working towards BCBA
• Experience with verbal behaviour (VB) or PRT approaches
• School-based behaviour support experience

UAE Licensing Requirements

This role requires a valid UAE healthcare professional licence issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH), or Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant licence before providing services. Licensing requirements must comply with UAE regulations.

UAE Visa & Work Eligibility

Applicants must be legally authorised to work in the UAE through one of the following:

• Own UAE Employment Visa
• Green Visa
• Freelance Permit
• Dependent Visa with legal work eligibility
• Any other valid UAE work authorisation
