Job summary

avua is seeking a commercially driven Head of Business Development in Dubai to lead and inspire a high-performance BD team while actively closing new business and driving revenue growth. You will set targets, coach the team, manage pipelines, and identify new markets and partnerships to broaden avua's client base and revenue streams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development and sales.
• Experience managing and motivating a sales or business development team.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the business development team, set individual targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching and support.
• Establish clear sales targets and KPIs, track progress, and ensure the team delivers against agreed objectives.
• Actively identify prospects, build relationships, negotiate deals, and close new business personally.
• Monitor sales pipelines, review opportunities, forecast revenue, and ensure consistent business development activity.
• Identify new markets, clients, partnerships, and opportunities to increase company revenue.
• Provide regular updates to management on team performance, personal sales, pipeline, and progress against targets.
