Job summary

Ennismore’s 25hours Hotel One Central in Dubai is seeking an experienced bartender to deliver premium service in a vibrant luxury setting. You will greet guests, cover beverage preparation to recipe standards, process beverage transactions, and maintain the bar to high hygiene and safety standards.

Applicants should have 3–4 years of bartending experience in a 5-star hotel, upscale bar, or high-end restaurant, strong beverage knowledge, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years as a bartender in a 5-star hotel, upscale bar, or high-end restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service standards.
• Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and handling guest requests professionally.
• Friendly, confident personality with teamwork and composure during busy periods.
• Knowledge of bar hygiene, cleanliness and responsible beverage service.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet guests' needs, provide bar services, and upsell where appropriate.
• Complete day-to-day activities by following SOPs to ensure consistent, quality service.
• Adhere to health, safety and environment procedures and company policies.
• Maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Set up and maintain bar, ensure visual appeal and proper stock levels.
• Coordinate with stewards to keep bar area clean and hygienic.
• Monitor expiration dates and proper storage of perishable garnishes.
• Adopt responsible service of alcohol in line with policy and regulations.
• Perform related tasks as assigned by management.

Job Description

How does your working day look like …

• Identify and meet guests' needs, provide appropriate bar services and assist guests in recommendations, upselling where appropriate in order to provide knowledgeable and bespoke service.
• Complete day-to-day activities by following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environment procedures, instructions and controls so that Company provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
• Comply with quality expectations and standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals.
• Maintain efficient workflow by adhering to the sequence of service and standards detailed in relevant F&B Standards Manual.
• Serve beverages according to defined standards and measures (according to local license agreements).
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes.
• Ensure all drinks transactions are processed, registered and settled.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Setup the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately.
• Undertake opening, closing & cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists.
• Coordinate with stewards to ensure equipment and bar area are kept hygienically clean and tidy at all times and sufficient glassware is available.
• Ensure the checking of expiration dates and that all perishable garnishes are stored and recorded in designated storage area.
• Adopt a responsible attitude towards serving of alcoholic beverages, to ensure safe consumption in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by management.

• You have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Bartender in a 5-star hotel, upscale bar, or high-end restaurant.
• You have strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service standards.
• You are passionate about hospitality and genuinely enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests.
• You have experience with POS systems, cash handling, and managing guest requests and complaints professionally.
• You have a friendly, confident personality and enjoy interacting with guests and colleagues.
• You are reliable, organised, and able to keep a cool head and maintain service standards during busy periods.
• You are a true team player with a hands‑on mentality and a positive attitude.
• You have good knowledge of bar hygiene, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service.
• You communicate confidently in English.
