Job summary

25hours Hotel One Central is seeking a Front of House Cashier to support daily F&B accounting and guest payments. You will manage cash, POS transactions, and end-of-day reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Experience in the Middle East and in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred. The role involves flexible shifts, including weekends and nights, within a vibrant team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.
• Experience in a pre-opening or major refurbishment project within a similar operation.
• Previous work experience in the Middle East.
• Relevant experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Good administrative and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all checks are closed correctly matching up debit, credit and cash payments.
• Maintain cash float with no discrepancies.
• Prepare waiter reports and calculate floor staff sales, end of service and end of day restaurant sales.
• Process guests' payments via cash, cards, and vouchers; apply offers accurately.
• Keep the register station stocked with necessary items and report POS issues to management.
• Close checks for waiters before daily reports are printed.

How does your working day look like ...

• Ensure all the checks have been closed correctly matching up the debit, credit and cash payments.
• Ensuring the cash float always matches up and there are no discrepancies.
• Responsible for each waiters' reports and calculation of each member of the floor staff sales as well as end of service and end of day restaurant sales.
• Perform returns and special transactions through the POS system, ensuring all special offers have been applied correctly before being charged to the guest
• Keep the \"register station\" stocked with all necessary items
• Notify management of all guests' POS System issues
• Consistently maintain a balanced cash drawer
• Process all guests' payments by cash, credit cards, debit cards and/or gift vouchers
• Ensuring each waiter closes up any open checks they might have before their daily report has been printed off
• Filling out all waiters' envelopes at the end of each night, performing all calculations including but not limited to CC Total, Cash Total and Tips Total
• Processing end of service calculations, doing end of shift and end of day revenue calculations
• Perform related duties as requested by the management team
• Report to work as scheduler working various shifts including but not limited to weekends, holidays and/or night shifts
